put the size feller guage between the acc cable thingy and stop then check resistances :roll:

it was the keyway! been completely destroyed! all going good now after putting a new one in.

it was nearly impossible to find them i went all around town looking for who kept them, ended up going to blacks getting one that was too big and grinded it down to the correct size.

apparently its a common problem with 4ages. pretty easy fix in the end which i like lol

I think it is only a 'common problem' if the crank pulley bolt isn't torqued up correctly... and NOT an easy fix if the slot in the crank is buggered.

As in too tight or too loose? Or both? Just I will be tightening one next week and would like to know. :)
