Try rerunning the speaker cable to the rear if it's not stock, Usually the power wires for the car run along the drivers side, If someone has run speaker wire down there along next to the power wires that can happen, If this is the case rip them out and re-run them along the passengers side.

is usually a dodgy earth some where in the car, what you are hearing is "road noise" as b1nz says check your speaker wires and re run them away from any main power sources.

Although reccomended to seperate your power/speaker wires, i run my RCA/power and speaker wires through one gromet to the frunk in the MR2 with out white noise issue. Rear speakers arnt amped from factory or anything? What brand headunit?
