Daihatsu Charade GTti problems - white smoke on idle

Daihatsu Charade GTti problems

smokes a white smoke on idle (always when warm), sometimes misses on idle when smoking and deaceleration (sometimes) but not on boost smells like fuel... and i dont have a clue whats wrong
reacent changes is new fuel filter, had 2 replace flange gasket between turbo and exhast manafold, and brakes but that would have nothing to do with it. uses no oil, uses little bit of water not much but its gota water cooled turbo on it.

any ideas??

Is it definitely smoke? Could be steam from Blown Head Gasket.

Other than that it MUST be using oil, ie leaking oil through seals somewhere. Possibly valve guides (normally only after idling or on start up), piston rings, turbo seals etc etc.

rule out the turbo, maybe valves? just rebuild your other cb80!

White smoke? Usually means burnt oil outside of the combustion chamber. Like turbo seals.

Turbo is under 3 months old, and was checked out in the weekend.

Smoke under decelration is a good indicator of valve stem seals being poked. CB80s are a doddle to work on so replacing them won't be difficult.
