3S Thermostat Housing

Postby nz_climber » Thu Sep 25, 2008 7:20 pm

Hi all..

Problem: the thermostat housing ony my beams 3sge - sticks out perpendicular (90 degrees) from the block and pointing slightly down. This puts it in the way of a lot of things. (since the engine is no longer in the orginal car)

option 1: Is there a thermostat housing from a another variant of the 3s engine or any toyota that will fit and point forward from the block? If so where can I get one?

option 2: Cut the existing housing and get it welded so it points out the front of the engine

comments please
cheers
