They're pretty basic motors, the biggest issue you'll have is the hydraulic lifters, but I believe you can still buy solid ones new from Toyota.
You'll want to get a non twinsquish head unless thats what those pistons were made for, otherwise you'll be wanting to run it on diesel
Also dont buy into the hype of 3K bigport heads, they're nothing flash. Or the 3K-B twin carbs either, they're no good. You'll want a pair of side drafts to take full advantage of the bigger cam.
