novice 4agze question

i have recently brought a 4agze for the race car, but im a bit confused as to what version i hav as there is conflicting information on the net....

it is a big port, CAS, Twin coil....

with that information is anyone able to tell me the comp ratio and what its out of????

i have searched the net but as i said conflicting info

From memory, the early AFM ones were about 8.7:1 and the later MAP ones (from the AE101's) were 8.9:1

Something like that anyway.

yeah i no the comp changes from 8.0 to 8.9 at some stage. i thought the Dizzy ones were the 8.0 and big port and the CAS ones were 8.9 and smallport.

but mine is bigport CAS which is like in the middle lol

I think there was only two versions bigport and smallport. Smallport being 8.9 and the bigport 8.0. So yours being bigport is 8.0. I could be wrong though.

it sounds like its an afm ae92 motor, should have afm, coilpacks, big ports?

iv got the entire engine loom up to the computer and there is no AFM or MAP that i can see

then you could have a bit of a problem, i believe the afm wiring is near the water sensors etc,

na the race car has a link and is already wired up for a 4age so im not worried about that just have ro re wire for CAS and twin coil :D

afm verfsions are 8.0, later model map sensor are 8.9

4 versions

aw11 dizzy,afm i think 8.0

ae92 early, cas, afm 8.0

ae92 late cas, map 8.9

ae101 cas, map 8.9

sweet does anyone have a pic of the plug for the AFM/MAP so i can find it on the loom???

or are the early ae92 bigport and the new ones small port??
