T-series Torsen LSD?

I see this guy is advertising a T-series diff head with a torsen LSD. I wasn't aware that such a thing existed. He's adamant that it's T-series and not F. Any idea what LSD unit he might have used / modded to fit?

T series torsens come out of rear end of celica ST205 GT4s i believe

All widebody St185's RC's and aus spec 185's from knowoelege also came with the torsen , as well as the 205..

No ones ever claimed 100% as far as i know that the Gt4's run a t series , but it would be handy to know!

Also GTT Caldina wagons. I don't believe they're actually considered a T series, but they are indeed 6.7" & will accept the T series Crownwheel with no mods. Did this conversion in my AA63 Carina, worked out ok, but certainly no comparison to decent 2 way LSD

Any idea if it could be used in a live-axle drum brake T-series eg AA60, TT141?

Would need to find axles to suit. Early T Series are too small, may be the same as late T series, but i'm not 100% sure.

Mine was IRS, so just used the original Stub axles & redrilled the flanges to mate them to T Series Carina Outer shafts

I was thinking about doing this for my t series diff, but at the end of the day from what ive read they are just not as strong as the F series ones. I am just gonna end up swapping out my whole subframe for an F series.

But If its true that you can fit the LSD internals off the celica GT4s or caldina with no mods, Just buy one of the diffs from one of those cars, Ive seen LSD ones go for $100-$150

What mods do you need to do to fit the altezza internals in?
