The motor is the 1500cc 5E-FTE (turbo, 220Kw) in my race car , is 5-6 litres about right , too much or not enough ?

Also have you considered an Accusump unit? They're a lot cheaper than a full dry sump system but could give you that extra boost of pressure if/when you need it.
