Engine Not Running On All 4 When Warm

Postby spoonza6 » Mon Feb 07, 2011 10:57 am

4efte engine

car from cold runs fine and smoothly on all 4 but as soon as its warmed up it starts to miss really really badly and sounding like a subaru

today im gonna have a go at the leads, and coil pack and spark plugs

have checked my wiring and it seems all good

could it be bad fuel? as it only happened after i filled up with GullForce 10 in rotorua but the car only started being an egg about Karaka/Papakura offramp

pretty perplexed at why it suddenly being like this

Overheating coil pack possibly? Is it a factory setup? (ignition/ecu etc)

could be the force10, not sure if your supposed to use it in you car...

try getting it out or diluting it with normal petrol

had similar problem when id blown my headgasket on 4efte, didnt sound like a subaru but would run really rough/lack of power and almost seem like hitting fuel cut and backfire etc

Take off oil cap and or dipstick out and have a nosey if the oil is all milky.

doubt would be gulls force 10, used this alot on mine and ran fine
