4AGE Clutch/Fywheel torque settings

Postby ke_25 » Mon Oct 03, 2011 7:56 pm

Hey,

Does anyone have off hand the torque settings for the pressure plate and flywheel bolts on a 4age 20v. I am running ARP flywheel bolts if it makes any difference.

Cheers,
Shaun

Their value comes from tightening them more. Tension.
If the fastener is only in shear, then it would do more & be stronger then the factory stuff without being tightened more, otherwise the improvement comes from holding the parts together more tightly.

Haynes manual says:

Clutch pressure plate-to-flywheel bolts = 14 ft-lbs
Flywheel bolts = 58 ft-lbs
