3SGE gen 3 oil cooler leaking

Postby jr007 » Fri Feb 22, 2013 7:52 pm

At least that's what I think it is. Being a f**ing technical legend, i'll describe it as the round silver thingee on the block above the oil filter, with hoses connecting into a coolant manifold, and the pipes that go back into the firewall.
Soooo anyway, it's dripping a little oil, nothing big,but annoying.
Is there just a gasket under there that needs to be replaced, or is there some other common drama with the 3sGE?

Reality: A nasty hallucination that is caused by excess blood in the alcohol stream.

Very good, thanks guys. The cooler itself doesn't have any oil on it, it's just seeping from around the block, so hopefully the o-ring will do the trick.
I'll let you know if I need that cooler :)
