Not yet in NZ that I know of, though you never know - there are some random crazies up to stuff in sheds here.

How is the TD05-Big 16G on a 3SGTE? I've often thought that could make a neat combination.

these engines have only been sold in NZ for a coupla years
2nd hand, IF theres any around, will not be cheap.
becuase of that, its unlikely many, if anyone in NZ has much experience with them.

however as lith pointed out, theres alls sorts of nutters spending too much time in their sheds in nz....

the 2GR-FE in the current camry's etc pump out a hefty 207Kw and 350odd Nm. if you were able to combine the added stroke of the 1GRFE with the higher compression, cams etc etc from the 2GRFE you should be able to extract somewhere near 220KW from it

3.5 or 4.0 litre??

don't know the size or designation number, but the REAL drift fraternity (AKA Speedway), were onto them as soon as they were released, seemingly getting more torque than the 1uz (remember torque wins races!!).

i'd be getting hold ot Mr Hartley, maybe Mr Marsh to hunt out some info.

Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

You or someone you pay, fabricates them to suit.

After market ecu, higher compression pistons, custom rods, 6 throttle bodies, custom manifold and 6 ram tubes. headers, good exhuast, slightly more duration cams with more lift, custom valve springs, how hard core do you want to go?
