That does make total sense. The 2JZ is over-engineered in every other way, so why would they have put a better designed head on something which isn't the "flagship" sorta engine?

Such a shame there's nothing decent you can put a 2JZ into (like you can with the RB26 into a cef/gts skidda etc)

hey what about MarkII, Chaser etc? They are much better looking cars then any similar nissans ...

I meant CHEAP cars you can swap it into. A chaser etc - may as well just buy a Mk4 supra in the first place :(

Older Chasers are becoming a bit cheaper. And those MKII Grandes. The older and teh newer ones of those both look pretty sweet.

Also there will always be the A70 Supra, Z20 Soarer + the Z30 Soarer. :wink:

AE86/5 or even better, TA2* or RA2* Celicas
I guess none of those are that cheap, how about an 80's cressida? :D

um *x8* chaser/cresta/mark 2/cressida? or even the next couple of versions newer are sweet. I bought a gx81 for $900 mint as just need to find an engine.
they look pretty sweet to me better than nissan options

Why not put one into a R32 Skyline Coupe and you have the best of everything, power, handling and reliability. Also not too difficult conversion.
