4 speed? steal case box? if so then no. wrong for you.
4 and 5 speed bell housing's don't swap over,

your after 2y 3y 4y 5speed w55 box only.

4 speed might be a W45 or G45... alloy box.

Ken
I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

hiluxs are generally a W series or a G series, and the input face is very similar they are interchangable,
on the 1uz adaptor plates that i do, they w series fits the hilux box they just have to be ground out a little to clear the g series input cover

yep w56, w59, g52, r151

do you also have to space the release bearing forward on the carrier to get a better clutch fork angle if you do not shave the 1s, 2s, 4s, 1c, 2c, 3c bellhousing with the 3s engine.

the gen5 beams altezza 3sge apparently has a different offset flywheel which fixes most of the usual issues converting 3s to rwd. and i read that the std dual-mass flywheel have issues and better to replace with aftermarket steel flywheel. you'd still need the double row spigot bearing with this i do assume?

also did you know there is a factory rwd 3s? comes in a sr40g and sr50g liteace as a 3sfe. unfortunately not a twincam. only the sr40g came with a manual with G52 according to toyodiy.com also distributorless!
