Spending a few hundred dollars every 100k is too expensive.

Better sell cambelt driven car for chain driven car too.

This is up my alley. I might look into it.
Supplying either custom made urethane bushes or rose joints.

Rose joints on a road car are a bad bad idea.
Increased harshness and even more wear!

That if you buy cheap rose joints.
Good teflon aerospace grade ones make a huge difference.

But most people just buy cheapies lol.

Billet urethane ones sound like the go.

Not so. Harshness due to the obvious lack of rubber.
And due to the bearing sliding in a housing unsealed they wear out. In relatively short time on a road car. Yeah you can get seals for them, but they are only sort of good.

However if its a race car or weekend toy then go for it. But replacing s/s parts with rose joints for a car driven rather a lot would be silly as the cost would be more and they will not last as long.

Isn't factory toyota bushes* are spherical joints (just like rose joints) with boots over them?
*newer ones anyway.

EDIT: I am talking about these things:

Some are, afaik rear only. Also not sure if both bushes on the same arm are of that type, can't remember.
The seals on those are like ball joint rubbers, hel in place with a spring

Those are what is on the inside end of the forward SS arm and on the hub end of the rear suspension arms (on a GT-Four anyway).

Those are not the ones that tend to cause trouble on superstrut. It is the taper pin joints.

I like the Superstrut (apart from the rear banana arm rubber bushing it is all balljointed anyway) but agree that maintenance is a pain (cost to replace ST205 parts is almost double price of Corolla with sub 100000km life).

I have had wear in those on the rear hubs. At least now you can buy them separate, they never used to be available spare (in the 90's).

Our roads not as good as yours and we spend $975/arm(arm with ball joint) which is around $487.50 US. Anyway I'm considering giving it one last go until I change the car.The thing is I have a contact in the US at present and they need the part numbers. They don't give out part numbers here so I went on the site toyodyi.com and they removed all the diagrams. My thing is that I would like the diagrams with the part numbers because I'm not familiar with them. Can anyone help me.My chassis # is AE101-5039184 and engine #4A-2546401...These are the front left and right bottom arms with the ball joint in the center....

Almost no chance Toyota USA will have ae101 superstrut suspension bits given that no RHD ae101 superstrut cars were made. Tried a couple of superstrut part numbers on toyotapartszone webste (a us toyota parts dealer)... they were not recognized. Genuine from NZ or Japan are probably the cheapest you will get.
Don't bother getting them rebuilt, its much cheaper, but they flog out in no time.

Toyodiy is working for you because you are not from USA. Toyota USA DMCA'd the Toyodiy, and thus the diagrams are not available in USA.

This is a typo right?

Have you tried contacting a dealer in NZ for the parts you need and getting a quote for shipping? Dunno if they even ship overseas but might be worth a shot? Where are you anyway? Think I missed it.
