oh and gap from guard to tires?

 Have just come across Tein Type S springs, these look like quite a good option, come in soft (Still firmer than std) and medium options for virtually all 101 and 111 variants....interestingly enough they have different rates for S/S BZ's to normal BZ's, different rates for Carib, different rates for 101's to 111's etc....basically a JDM company making specific springs for JDM cars  possibly a perfectly simple solution!

Yes it is. And it's quite a big fine if you're caught.

Would custom made linear rate replacement springs be comparable to coilover springs?

Ie would a 220Lb replacement spring handle the same as a 220Lb coilover spring if the same shocks are used and the ride height is the same? or does the length of the spring influence handling aswell?

Only on chassis parts - you're sweet if your body kit / exhaust is 20mm off the ground.. how long they last is another matter of course...

Unfortunately that is to a structural point
It is how i brought the car, and hasnt been questioned on a warrant, possibly due to being on 15"s and not looking that low

I'll second Jamex springs being way too soft - the 50mm drop Jamex I have in my Integra are anyway.

It's not just chassis. Any structural part, or any part to do with steering or suspension.
