one of the guys got me to give it some gas in 1st with the handbrake on and let the clutch off a few times and they reckoned it was a mount, waiting for some time off and some fine weather to have a decent look...
i'll grab it and give it a go tho...
um, i think its the same in most cars with quad throtle bodies.
if you tap the gas just a little, the amount of air entering the inlet etc, gets the approperate amount of fuel, thus... the tiny amount of throttle tap can cause a jolt.
so when you slow down, be sure to choose, throttle, or brake... not *tap throttle... wee bit off..* just hold the throttle when speeding up, release it (drop it), and hold the brakes, then use the clutch to change down gears to use engine braking
hmm, okay, scenario
1st gear, take off to appropriate revs, say 5k, then just lift foot off gas, but leave it in gear... car will jerk like a mofo as it slows down, rather than slowing down smoothly as i thought it should...
brendon thought it was wrong... so kinda getting opinions...
