I don't know much about suspension setups so I'd like to find out a little before I do anything.
My question is, how do I choose a shorter shock? Would I compress the springs and then choose a shock the right size to make it captive? Or do off the shelf shocks allow for a bit of variation?
Id like to buy some shocks that will fit some lower aftermarket springs as well as I would like to get some compressed king springs later on and don't really want to buy new shocks twice. Does this mean I'd have to get ajustable shocks? Otherwise I could awlays have them machined down a little?
I hope I have been clear on everything!
Like I said I don't know very much but would like to find out

BTW: Does anyone know where TSV Suspension in palmerston north send springs to be compressed?
