Would you want the condensated fumes to go back into the sump though? Even if it's not a problem I wouldn't bother wasting time putting a tap into the sump for that. I do sugest having one with a breather though.

The oil that is draining away was previously being combusted so I don't see any advantage in returning it to the sump.

I think you'll find those "returns", scavenge lines, actually taking oil from the sump.
