No doubt this problem is pretty common with manual gt starleys... Whats the most common way of dealing with this?

Cheers

You can go with an A/M ECU or just a stand alone unit with the sole purpose of removing boost cut.

There's lots of places that makes units like those...HKS, Greddy etc etc

OK, sounds like the ticket. So, where do I find one of these things? A/C ECU? excuse my lack of knowledge Jedi. I am but a young apprentice...

A/M ECU means aftermarket which is expensive if you just need boost cut removed.

Go for a small stand alone unit with the sole purpose of removing the cut. Have a search on the HKS and Greddy etc websites it should be listed there with full details on how they work.

thanks dude. I will do that. I was hoping you would say something like "you pull this wire out and solder the green wire to the flux capacator..."

I guess there is no easy fix wivout spending more dough..

Thanks once again for the quick replies. This forum is quite good!

removing the boost cut with a Fuel cut defender will make it run lean past 12psi.. not a good idea.. there are other ways around fueling above 12psi without a standalone ecu tho.
