OMG I NEED HELP :|

Hey all, im from palmy and im up in aucks for block cource, when i went to put my ciggerte lighter in my headunit turned off, my lighter wudnt work, my heating fan wudnt work, aircon wudnt work, so i drove round wid a map trying 2 find home with buga all vison (cause she was alllll fogged up), i dnt wana drive back 2 palmy wid that and no stero or radar ! please please help, oh my cars a 1994 toyota trueno gt-apex manual

checks all the little fuses, 10amp 15amp 20amp ect they r all fine, its not the wiring on the headunit, its been in for a year now and redfox installed it, any1 plz help, im not stupid and i checkd the ovious things, i jst thought sum1 else mita had that problem in there 20v

dome fuse? iv got like 1 big fuse box on the right side under my bonnit, i chekd the fuses i know bout, ( 15amp ect ) but theres other bigs ones in there i wudnt hava clue wat they r :S

if all those have suddenly stopped working, you have blown a fuse. the ciggy lighter has shorted the circuit out, quite common.

There is a fuse box which should be on the driver kick panel :) check those fuses, when you replace it its best to find what caused the blow fuse, i cant talk though i never do that :lol:

Kick panel is down by your feet. most likely to the right in the drivers seat.

That does sound like the Dome fuse too.

yup had the exact same thing happen to me when i wired my headunit backwards 8) there should be a diagram on the back of the little panel u pull off to access the fuses that will tell you which one to pull out.

there in no kick panel is 20v truenos ! im sure theres not theres 2 fuse boxes under the hood, i checkd them both and all the fuses seem to b fine, im completly lost ! :(

There is a fuse box thing just next to gas pedal, you will find the fuse which is responsible for clock/lighter is named "CIG/RADIO" on the cover from the panel which covers the fuse box.

check the state of your ciggy lighter, the element breaks down after lots of use and shorts the wiring out

also, make sure your fuel cap is secured properly, and perhaps buy a haynes manual just to see how to do that.... its very important and it could just save your life

im kidding, congrats on finding a new part of your car(which is commonly known as "the drivers side kick panel fusebox"-or tdskpf for short) go with this wisdom and breed your new found knoledge
