What is the 1G in at the moment?

Easy and first ones are normally get a good, decent exhaust system. Get your Intake sorted out. Slap on an Intercooler that's not overly big. Just big enough to do what you need it to do.

Then get an EBC and you can wind the boost up a bit. I'm not sure on what boost cut is with the 1G, I have forgotten after the Supra. :?

If you get problems with boost cut just get an FCD and you're away. Watch out for the turbos though as they are not bulletproof. Wind it out too much and they'll pop like corn in a hot pan.

You could go with a bigger single turbo on the motor but there's allot that needs changing for that sort of thing. And yes you could run it from your stock ECU....but what's the point? If you are spending all of the money to convert to single turbo then why not fork out a lil extra and get the whole thing tuned properly with an aftermarket ECU?

That way you'll get the best power out of it.

as above, but dont wind the boost too much, they are not the most reliable turbos, and also at high boost they will be just pushing hot air without much gains

kinda doing the whole thing on a buget, gana make a collector pipe that joins both manifolds together atm, chuck a t3/t4, can do this for around 800.

ive got a decent front mount on it, no exaust atm 8O

goes alot beta in the lighter chassis

Budget is always a bad word when it comes to modifying cars.

Let me get this right...you are going to join the stock manifolds together so that you can slap a single on it? - IMHO that would be pointless as the stock manifolds are very restrictive. It would be better to just get a new manifold from the start made with T3/T4 flanges and go single from there.

I don't exactly see how you are going to join the stock manifolds together for a single turbo? - Sounds like allot of hassle for minimal gain to me.

Also you need to be doing your exhaust, at the moment it will be holding you back. If you already have the Intercooler sorted out and you are going single turbo then you'll have to do a new exhaust as it's going to be extremely restrictive and holding everything else back from achieving their full potential.

It actually has 'no exhaust' at the moment, just the downpipe

Pretty easy really, you have two side by side flanges make a Y pipe to collect them into onewith your t3 style flange, very simple and apperntly quite affective, seen it done in aussie. may get the die grinder out also.

making a whole new manifold sounds rather costly since the whole car has cost my 2500 so far..

can you get fuel cut defencers for afm cars?

Maybe you should dyno it first
then get yourself a sidepipe
stock turbos
intercooler is fine
see how much power you make

some make over 150kw on 14psi which is great

150 is bloody resonable power, id be chuffed with that, it certainly feels as though it has that sorta power.

ohwell power is not everything- maybe i should start trying to tighten this chassis up abit..
