Hydraulic handbrake assembly and 'emergency control panel'. Handbrake cradle and lever were picked up from the powdercoaters this arvo and all was put together. Swung by a cycle shop and bought a rubber hand grip which was stretched into place. Not what I'd call bling, but practical and functional. Just right for a rally car

The panel has the master push button for the SPA plumbed in extinguisher system along with the control box. This enables the system to be armed, disarmed and allows circuit testing. There will be an external button too. Same with the battery master switch.
The ratchet system is simplicity personified. Lift up the lever to keep the brake on and rotate the locking mechanism and it is held in place. A slight pull on the level and it automatically unlocks thanks to the spring. Just perfect for those tight hairpins
