Suitable rear brake upgrade for a kp60

Postby ollieboy » Mon May 08, 2006 10:18 pm

Just looking at brakes for my starlet. Is it possible to get good rear brakes without spending too much money? Im upgrading the fronts so I thought I might as well put something decent on the back.

Cheers

Edit: Is there some that will bolt up straight from another vehicle even?

What do you define as spending too much money?

Personally if I want to go fast then I start at the brakes first, IMO there is no point in going fast if ya cant stop

What have you upgraded the front to? the back might be suitable if the front has been done as well

I put disks off a 1986 Mark 2 Corona on. They are huge disks about 10cm or so maybe more. (Huge compared to Starlet standard.)

I meant spending too much money as in I would like to get the brakes off an old car that I don't have to spend much on.

You must have slightly bigger wheels than 13"
