vsv in mr2

hey guys just wanted to know if disabling vsv in a mr2 without boost controller will cause any problems, my car seems to boost 13.5psi without boost contoller.....

Have you got an aftermarket exhaust? That will make the stock ct26 creep up a bit. 13.5psi is fine.

does the trust exhust come standard on mr2 turbos.....

kool that means the exhust is aftermarket coz it says trust japan on it an yea i disabled the vsv an the car still boost 13.5 psi is that normal coz i heard the boost will fall to 7psi if i disable vsv without a boost controller.....

Yeah I'd say the exhaust is the reason it creeps up. If your car was 100% stock with the t/vsv connected and the car is up to temp, outside air isn't freezing and the ecu detects no knock it should boost up to 11.8psi. When the t/vsv isn't operating or disconnected it should provide actuator controlled boost of ~7psi.

ok what i did was disconnect the hose that goes to the t/vsv an block the hose goin to it.....but i left the line comin out of the wastegate unblocked, should that cause the car to run at 7psi coz i read that the vsv is what causes the car to run at 7psi in some conditions by closing up.....

Yep but your exhaust will cause the turbo to flow more than the wastegate can handle, so it will creep up regardless.
