Postby MrOizo » Thu Sep 28, 2006 8:20 pm

I'm using a BOV from a 1JZ that i have laying around..

anyone have a pic of one at all? need to know how it is plumbed up and all that shit.

thought i had it sorted but doesn open up when the throtle body is closed after boosting...

hmmm... opens up under vacuum if i release the little hose that comes from the vac/boost feed.

Yeah - a ST165. I have figured it out tho... needs to be a plum back. well be plumbed back into between the turbo and AFM..

might just get a rice boys one and try that out. only opens when the vac is much more than the boost :o

you probly got it on backwards. on the bov you have the pipe end and the flange end. the flange end vents the pressure and the pipe end comes from the turbo.
the bov works the opposite of most bov's. the valve lifts in the direction of the preesure to let air out. they run a little one way valve between the 2 little vacume pipes on the bov.
