ISC/rotary soleniod

hey all

ive taken my whole inlet off in order to try and stop the high idle issue.

i also want to check the wiring associated to the ISC/Rotary soleniod.

there are three wires

red
black
green.

i have some ideas where they go but would like confirmation.
just to save me ripping the 1cm thick skin of loom tape that has engulfed my loom :lol:

the centre one is the red??

Red is Ign power /12V feed
the other two are ISC and ISO which both go to the ECU.

according to this pins 2 and 7 on the 10 pin plug are ISC related.

but it says the red and green wires.

???

Ah yes

red and Green are ISC and ISO,
and the Black wire will have a tracer colour, probably red trace signaling ign switched power.
The trace colours in wires are just as important as the main colour in working out what they do)

(I can only remember so many colour codes from memory.)

ill check the continuity of those tomorrow, and hopefully eliminate that possibility
