Hey nick,
i have found repco have a pretty good selection of different length wheel studs.. although i'm sure there are places out there that won't try and rip you off so much..

hang on, have you changed your wheels or hubs recently?

if its your wheels the stud/nut holes could be smaller meaning you need to get thinner wheel nuts (i had this problem)

Either fit longer studs or you may need internally wrenched wheel nuts and/or a different tapered end.

We had this problem with a set of 15" for an AE92 corolla. Had the right wheel nuts and everthing, but could only took 1.5 turns until they were done up tight.

Wasn't going to risk that and CBF changing the studs so they were sold.

Who makes the wheels. The enkei's that I bought needed specific Enkei nuts. As mentioned before they are internally wrenched and a fuggly ucker to put on. But nothing beats the real thing - trust me I had a wheel fall off trying alternatives.

I had a similar problem on my AE104 project. I went to Y60 Safari wheel studs, which are 12 x 1.25 thread and longer so not only was there more length, there was more threads per that length too.......

a carefully placed/angled hammer behind. ideally a puller/impact puller, or at a pinch with the nut off, put wheel on with nuts as much as you can do up and leaver off. probably easier with cv out the way.

Be careful using hammers around hubs that have ABS rings behind them, some of those are damn brittle so one good wallop with a hammer and your up for a new hub.
