dont give out bad " I think advice ", and use google dammit..
has nothing to do with the map sensor unless that infos wrong, its to do soley with the ECU.. and rather than just give the link to the info just google
"fcd st185 install guide"
amazing what you find, the answers can be found on the first link from alltrac.net..
http://www.alltrac.net/mods/FCDwiring.htm
The FCD becomes easy to install when you understand what it does. The boost sensor in your car reports a voltage to the ECU. When the ECU senses 4.4 volts, it will cut the fuel (fuel cut), and cause you to lose power. The FCD will intercept this voltage and put out a lower figure to the ECU, so that fuel cut cannot happen. The PIM wire tells the ECU the voltage, which must be cut. Each end of the PIM wire goes into the FCD so that the voltage can be altered. Only the PIM wire would be cut, the others would be "tapped", by connecting the wires to the harness, but not cutting them.

They are but have a MAP sensor for the stock in-dash boost gauge and i am sure for the fuel cut for the ECU.
but this is "I think" info
