maybe i have to make a mutant b@stard setup with mounts welded to my xmember and so on, Im no steering an suspension expert how do u go abou measuring the steering arm width etc, maybe i should measure the original width (which ive already removed so if any KE2# owners want to measure theres for me it would be super) and cut and bodgey the steering arms to the right length, cnt be that hard can it

you will have to make mounts
if a KP rack is suitable cut them off a KP crossmember

you will need to finds steering arms that match the bolt pattern of your struts. unless the ke20 ones suit a KP type tie rod end.

with toyotas theres only a couple of b/j and tie rod b/j types.
so mixing and matching to get the right combo isnt too hard.

see f you can scrounge a KP rack to play with. having it there to look at will help a lot!

what are you doing about struts?

I dont know yet its hard to think about without knwing about the options, i have a set of skyline (the turbo ones) calipers to use, its not gonna be doing any serious turning action (straight line mostly) so steering doesnt matter to much (need rack&P for engine bay space)
any advice on strut-bottom arm combination?

if possible id be trying to use the all the steering/suspension components from a kp starlet- at least that way your geometry/ ackerman will be right. even if its a bit of a faff around to make it bolt to the ke chassis rails.
