Is it possible to remove the water cooling collar before the oil filter on the gen 2 3sgte. Reason for doing this as due to a lack of room for the remote filter colar, was thinking becasue i am running a oil cooler the factory water cooling could be removed jsut want to know if this is possible and if it is what is best to use to replace it? Motor is mounted in a ae86

Yes I am sure you can remove oil cooler - the oil filter will screw onto the block if you fit the usual bit that screw into the block that the filter screws onto.
If you have a separate oil cooler all is sweet.

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

The oil filter should just bolt onto where the oil cooler when. It is just a color (if thats how u spell it).

probably a 3sge. It is a union bolt - one end threads into the block and the other the oil filter
