removal of quad throttles and fuel rail from 20v head

hey guys my search yielded very little in what i am after,

im tryna pull off the quad throttle from this 20v 4age head i have,

i have undone the 4 or so bolts and two nuts that connect to the head itself and removed the bracket that bolts to the block but now i cant get the throttle bodies too budge. have i left something still attache or is that rubber gasket a bitch to peel back?

any recommendations im all ears

there is like 8-10 nuts/bolts total... off the top of my head there at the top and below

4 top and 4 below i think? bottom ones are an ass to get to.they are inbetween the throttles.
if someones used sealant on the manifold it m ight need a bit of a wiggle.

yeah there are 8 i think, couldnt remember how many i pulled off, any particular knack to getting it free?

There are nine. 5 on the top, 4 on the bottom.

and then they just fall off. never had one stick on??

ok might have missed the middle one on the top :D how do you get to that?

if you can't see it at all you may have a problem :lol:

otherwise its just a case of thinking outside the square, nothing is ever easy. I'd go look at mine but its rather dark, so if you still haven't worked it out 2moro night i'll have a look

the bar from the throttle spring on top to the throttles pushes off and out of the way and just use a tube socket....

ok so went and had another go, but cant seem to get to the middle 3 on the top (fuel rail side) i havent taken the air plenum off should i be doing that to get to these 1s?

maybe post a pic of the issue you're having?

i've never really had too much trouble getting mine off, just need the right tools to get the bolts out and it should practically fall of.
