w58 out, r154 in.. wat needs to be changed?

Postby YeMs » Tue Apr 15, 2008 6:09 pm

ok, im gunna be sussing out an r154 soon for my cressida as i dont like the chances of a w58 holding over 300kw.

so interchangeability.. input shaft splines? are they different? so would have to get clutch plate also.

i kno the r154 is pull type, but thats easily changed.

yoke sizes? will the w58 yoke fit in?, any 1 know if the boxes are the same length and mount similarly? (so i dont have to change d/shaft length)

I would think twice about changing to Push. Pull is a great setup.
