3sgte hesitating

This is something that really only showed itself while racing at the drags,
but when driving kinda hard, my car hesitates for a second or so when I change from 2nd to 3rd, kind of like its hitting a limiter of some sort, at first I thought it was hitting a boost/fuel type cut, but it does it before boost builds up that high.

I really dont know how to describe it any better, just flooring it in 2nd then quickly shifting to 3rd leads to it losing all power for a bit, lifting off the accelerator then putting it down a bit more gradually seems to sort it, but that doesnt really help with my times at the track
could it be ignition related?

Hey, at least it sounds like a 3s.

sounds exactly the same :D

ok new question, any recommendation for sparkplugs for a tickled 3s running 16-17psi? Ive been recommended a couple, providing ones that fit 4a engines do the job in the 3s too.

Sparkplugs are a completly new thing performance wise for me
Ive never had an engine that had no issues with standard issue equipment til this one

If I could find all my receipts I'd be able to tell ya, but Im pretty sure It was just factory spec equivilents, basicly the same as the builder put in originally.
Will pull them out next time im at my olds to double check, my tools dont reach that far into my engine

I got BKR6EP's in there at the moment, with a number 8 under them,

as I said, sparkplug numbers etc mean nothing to me, whats that mean?

edit: They are oem fitted to the gen3 3s,

too hot, go for some 7's or even 8's, 8's will need to be tuned for ideally at idle so it doesn't foul them up.

Do they not have any shielding against radio interference?
