4age throttle body

Do i need to keep the coolant pipes going into this and if i do what are they actualy doing.

they are what controls your cold engine idle up and lessen the amount of air bypassing the TB at idle as the engine gets warmer

You can get away without the coolant connections to the throttle
body so long as you block off the idle-up valve. If you don't block
it off the valve will stay open, and you will idle at 2000 rpm :lol:

Take the valve apart and fill it with epoxy, or better still, chuck the
valve away and close the bottom of the throttle body off with a
piece of 5mm ally plate (use some instant gasket to make sure
it is airtight).

Might aswell, they alwas crap out anyway. and not having the extra heat in the t/b must have some small benefit
