you will need to run an efi fuel tank and pump and you will need to wire in a circuit open relay.

Yeah shouldnt be too much, mounts should be sweet, I dont know for sure about the cross member but would imagine thatd be sweet cos they are both 4a blocks.
You would need to suss fueling - pump for efi, efi rated rubber hose might need to be put in.
Im not sure about the ae92s but it might have drum brake rear, so you may want to swap the disc setup over from the parts car you have.
Might also be worthwhile to switch over some of the interior electrical work, just for fun!
You may also find it easier to suss out a manual loom for the bigport? I would have thought they are quite common?

I put a 20V into my one of these, bloody easy. Though I think on the 16V the radiator hoses will have to be different, but that is simple enough. Clutch, fuel pump and fuel feed line and your sorted, the rest is the same iirc.
Of course I gave up when I had to do the wiring

cross member doesnt touch the block in a fwd setup dingus.

will be a easy conversion even if your cabbage with wiring, just mash one of those trademe 5 wire looms on.

not sure about ae92's but I'm pretty sure the block in ee80's ae82's mounts to the north south crossmember, seeing as I just did one

In saying that I know remember the *E9X series have a different crossmember setup to the *E8X series
