Hope that helps, you can get a whole blacktop service manual pdf off the net too if you get stuck.

when i did my blacktop conversion i found there seemed to be a lot of redundant wires in the the silvertop loom, one of the computers... i think its the silvertop also has wiring codes on the circuit board where the pins connect, so if you take the cover off you can reference those
When in doubt, down and out.

If you have an auto silvertop loom, the pinout is almost identical to the blacktop ecu.
There is a silvertop wiring diagram available in the tech section of club4ag.com

my silvertop runs a blacktop ecu - goes heaps better too, little bit flat below 2000 rpm but better overall.

I have decided to replace the entire silvertop (manual) harness with the blacktop (manual )harness. There were a few connections in the engine bay that had to be changed other than that there is a pair of plug in harness that come through the firewall with the set that plugs into the computer. The problem is these are different from what is there in the car .That extra pair on both harness are different.Does anyone have the diagrams for both or can point me in the right direction?

Where have you connected your MAP sensor to the silvertop intake? I'm not sure I've got mine right as it seems to run a bit rich, leaves a bit of a cloud behind it over 6000rpm.

yea i call it the great cloud of awesome :D

but na, i just took a vac feed off the chamber above the throttles that goes to all four. It does run a bit rich, which i dont get because i thought the ecu should be using the o2 sensor during cruise

I have tapped into the line that goes to the fuel pressure regulator...I find the car to be running a bit rich as well......

wrong line. You will need to tap into the little manifold above throttles.

if its a stock silvertop, you want to tap into the aluminium chamber on top of the throttles. It's the one that the head/pcv vents into, at the rear end of the chamber there's a round frost plug lookin thing and a few vac sources off that end. Its half hidden under the plastic cover for the injector wiring. That chamber takes a vac feed from all 4

Can I use the vac off that end by the frost looking plug...

yep any one of those nipples will do the trick, you're just after a nice smooth (equalised) vacuum signal, not like the one you've got. The top chamber is perfect. Like i said though, mine still runs a bit rich - possibly more to do with my 02 sensor tho

Well guys I have a new problem.....when I try to accelerate the car suddlenly it bogs down for lack of a better term...however when I unplug the TPS the car revs and drives very good except for a little high idle(1500rpm)....I have changed the TPS but I have to get it set...I think it is 1.8ohms -18.5ohms at full throtle...this is driving me crazy...
