Isc plumb into intercooler piping?

The one side of my isc is currently not plumbed into anything at the moment. Should I plumb it into the intercooler piping or just put a filter on it? Was thinking putting it into the intercooler piping incase it leaked under boost.
Ideas of what I should do with it?

If MAP sensor then a filter should be fine, if AFM then somewhere just after the sensor.

Not 100% sure if it's working properly. Can hear it puffing away on idle but the tuner couldn't get it to alter idle when adjusting the values while tuning. Might have to source another one to test as I wonder if it's stuck open and might leak under boost.

I'll do the filter once I sort it.
