In the US it's also called RSP, or 'Royal Sapphire Pearl'. Which basically means blue. 8)

not quite.. wiki sez that..

Sapphire (Greek: σάπφειρος; sappheiros) is a gemstone variety of the mineral corundum, an aluminium oxide (α-Al2O3), when it is a color other than red, in which case the gem would instead be a ruby. Trace amounts of other elements such as iron, titanium, or chromium can give corundum blue, yellow, pink, purple, orange, or greenish color.

Thats so stupid, I could have posted the exact same thing and just put "blue" in bold and then it would have supported MY argument.

How often do you see people say "sapphire" and mean orange?

the quote above is about the gem. not the colour :P

this is also one of the silliest topics ever!

Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.
