In the US it's also called RSP, or 'Royal Sapphire Pearl'. Which basically means blue.

Sapphire (Greek: σάπφειρος; sappheiros) is a gemstone variety of the mineral corundum, an aluminium oxide (α-Al2O3), when it is a color other than red, in which case the gem would instead be a ruby. Read again.. all I said is that Sapphire doesn't always MEAN blue, I only highlighted purple for dramatic effect :roll:
