the poll to at last settle the age old question, which is better the levin or the trueno
im trying to be unbiased here ..... levins gonna win, truenos suck
for the people who have been living under a rock for their entire lives,

I voted Levin, they're sexy. I am not biased, I just think that Levin's are soooooooooooooo hot. I heard when girls get in my Levin they have instant orgasms. P.S. girls, PM me for a ride :twisted:

i chose the get a V8 etc... option.

but if i had to have any, it would be an AE85/86 Levin

well i thought it was just the truenos that had the 4age engine in it, guess im wrong, so wat is the difference between them? everywhere i look on here it always turns to a little bitchfight over what is better, present the proper facts about them, the levins ive seen have all been 1500cc????

The front and rear ends are kinda different, but thats it. Some people just don't like the look of the trueno as much

they are both exactly the same, apart from the nose
there were two sub models for the old skoolers the low spec AE85 and the sporty AE86
AE85= k-series driveline, 1500 sohc, low spec
AE86= T-series driveline, 4age 1600 dohc, higher spec (unless gtv then lowspec)
ae85's and ae86's were available in either the levin or trueno shape
they are exactly the same thing, but anyone in the know :wink:

(im talking out my arse) would say the levin in far better and truenos are for butt monkeys

They are so many kits, wings, mags, and so many different colours I reckon they can both look awesome OR crap.

I personally like the ae101 levin over the trueno coz the trueno bonnet comes right down to the bumper between the lights.
86 and 111, I like both of them!

thanks for clearing that up.. but what about my friends levin? thats only 1500cc?? do some truenos come out like that too? or is it just levins

Levins all the way!!!!!!!!!!! Only cuz i own one, if i owned a trueno, id say them. As long as its a ae92, who cares!!

as far as i know (dunno much exactly

) only difference between the two is apperance, so i guess u can get 1500's and 1600's in both cars

Well for me it really depends on the model,

if we talking AE85/6 then I say Trueno

if we talking AE101 or AE111 then I say Levin.

If we talking AE92 i dont give a shit as both are butt ugly IMO

I don't know about the pre-AE101 (before '92?) Levins and Truenos, but here are the engine options for the later models:

pre-'95:

S = 5A-FE (gutless 1500)
SJ = 4A-FE (mediocre 1600)
GT APEX = 4A-GE silvertop (quick, revvy)
GTZ = 4A-GZE (quick, smooth)

95+:

FZ = 5A-FE, with the old AE-101 shape
XZ = 4A-FE, AE111
BZ-G/BZ-R/BZ-V = 4A-GE blacktop, AE111

Both Levins ("Corolla Levin") and Truenos ("Sprinter Trueno") come in all these versions.
