High flow cats?

Postby Jools » Sat Apr 24, 2004 3:39 am

Anyone run an aftermarket high flow catalitic converter in their system?
Do they put much restriction in the exhaust or do they live up to the "high flow" title?
Also would it quite the exhaust down a bit?
Im strongly considering putting one in my 3" system in the hopes of cutting down noise and smell, but I dont want to sacrifice power obviously.

Well I know they seem to sell for between $150~200 USD so not super expensive.
V8 cat could be worth investigating I guess, though factory anything always seem to be naff
