the K series engines

Postby yip » Sun Apr 25, 2004 6:14 pm

first i must apologise for this, as it may be a dumb question,

i have heard that with the nissan RB series engines you can use a rb30 block and stick a RB25 head on and you increase compression and create more grunt, is this true? does it only work with a turbo?

if this is possible then can it be done with a 4K block and a 3K head????(will they match up?)

OR is this all Bollocks?

any info would be great as im trying to learn more

Cheers

it'll be too much effort for so little reward; theres 2 5k's in the busell this week; put one of them in and watch the wheels peel when you hit 2nd,

ye can be done but if there are 5ks round for sale at da mo try snap one up they make a good grunt upgrade over the old engines and can be sourced from newer vehicles etc than the starlet or corolla engines, if i still had mine i could have sold that to you but sold it to a mate sorry, and its a piss easy transplant aswell
If you drink, and drift,
your a bloody lunatic
