4k using way too much petrol :-/

I just realized that my starlet only got 150k's out of $20 (91) thats bloody shocking for a 1300! There wasn't all that much thrashing involved either and it doesnt run roughly plus goes as well as i'd expect a standard 4k to go...

What could be causing it to be so thirsty?

BTW it has new-ish air filter, oil change plus filter since I bought it.

Assuming it's carby, sounds like the carb needs some love, namely clean,replace perishable parts, etc.

On the really weird off chance it's injected - replace the o2 sensor...

Yeh difinatly sounds like the carb needs a good overhaul and it's probably been a long time since it's had a good tune up.

another thing change the petrol filter also probably very old.


or you could just sell me the car
