VVT pulley.

Postby matt dunn » Wed May 05, 2004 11:05 pm

Has anyone seen the end of a 20V camshaft without the VVT pulley on it.
I have my one in parts and it has a/market cams but there is nowhere that I can see for the oil pressure to exit the cam and into the pulley.

What I want to know is if someone else has seen a std cam are the oil feed lines quite obvious?

I can see the two feeds from the head to the cam but i cannot see how it affects the pulley?

yep, the oil feed is on the end of the camshaft with the locator pin on the stock cam. you can see where it feeds to if you have a look on the inside of the vvt pulley.

yeah i can see the oil feed if i look into the pulley.
But i'm pretty sure that there is no hole on the end of the cam.
I take this to mean that the cam no longer uses the VVT.
I'll look again tonight.
