Who is going to join the Dead 3S Society?

Postby Al » Mon May 17, 2004 3:34 pm

Theres a couple of 3sgte powered cars in the works at the moment and inevitably someone will join the ever growing Dead 3S Society.

Mine is getting minor mods like new turbo, downpipe, exhaust, more boost, trd clutch, no fuel cut etc 8)

Wildcard is going a bit more extreme with his bling bits which are too various to list

and FXGT|Boy just got his ST205 GT4 and has already wound the boost up and more mods soon to come 8O

EDIT: I forgot about Mmm, Boost as his MR2 will be done sometime soon...we hope.

Another EDIT. Added MR2SIK and Andy7447!

So whos it gonna be?

Won't be wildcard...he's got some ecu lovin going one....same with Brad so I'd say EITHER of the other two...st205 assuming no more mods are done and the extra boost keeps on coming & Al's possibly becasue it's the oldest.

Cheers

Time will tell.....also depends on how the car is driven & looked after, with all the time and $$ Brad has put into his 2 I'd say he'd be inclined to treat it right.

Rude bastards! Thats it, JE's and Eagle's here I come...lets see me break those!!!

Edit: Actually, $&#$% it...if it does blow up, I'm gonna keep the damn thing and use exactly those components to rebuild the motor. Then aim for 11's

You dont need to touch the internals for 11s....hell you dont even need to go with a standalone ecu..and the facto igntion is sweet (apart from stock spec sparkplugs) to over 400hp

brads car feels far to happy to be suicidal it might kill him but not itself, and it has the ecu and good tuning, i vote for FXGT|Boy (i dont know you but you got the right attitude), we all know a story about someone who winds up the boost as soon as they get their car with predicatable results

Ha, I'm not winning now, w00t!

Sorry FXGT boy, I dont know you but the best way to kill a 3S is to wind up the boost without doing anything else.

I don't think FXGT|BOY will blow up his engine because the st205 has got a decent intercooler + mapping for 17 psi but I think he will blow his turbo because ceramic and 1.2bar don't go together very well in the same sentance
