What should the height difference between the front and rear guards be with lowered springs? I have heard somewhere that the rear guard height in relation to the tyres/wheels should be 25mm lower than the front guard in relation to the tyres/wheels. Is this right? Its an AE101.
Also, is it ok to shorten front ‘Super Strut’ shocks? Anything I should be aware of in getting this done?

Hey on my AE92 Levin I have got supper lows and the front sat way lower than the rear so I got custom springs in the rear and shortened shocks now it sits even as.
Let me know if you want some super lows for your car I can do progressive rate coils (Jamex) @ $350 + freight
Cheers

Ive actually got Jamexs in it, but it sat ass high so got them 'modified' now it sits quite low in the back. Thing is I think it sits too low in the back so I need to lower the front more. At the moment my front guard sits about 30-35mm above the rears, so hence the question.

As far as the levels, when there's nothing in the car you want the rear sitting just a little higher than the front (in regard to wheel/guard clearance) so when you've got people sitting in the back or subs in the boot you don't get guard rub over every bump.

Yeah thats what im thinking, perhaps a few more mm's lower in the front will do it. Cheers JT
