what should my first mod be?

Postby ELOK » Sun May 23, 2004 11:00 pm

i decided to keep my rolla (was thinking of selling) cos its just got way too much potential for me to just get rid of it.
ive got 4 mods im focusing on right now to get it looking nice. i will worry about engine and all that later.

so what should my first few mods be? its a bog standard 78 ke30.

:PICS: http://public.fotki.com/Jaby/jaby_corolla_ke30/

Respray it, throw on some alloys then lower it and you're away.

Nice new coat will encourage you to keep it looking good, and you'll treat it again with new wheels and springs...

yea mates rates is great aye, i only have to pay for paint witch ive got quoted at 200-300$ round abouts

i dont think id be able to score it for you tho man, its my old mans contact nto mine.
if u wanna cheap paintjob go to a place where people are learning to spray cars and they do it all for u and i dont think they charge you either. i heard of someone who had done this. not sure how it worked tho.

What about a nice deep navy blue?
Something classic for a cool, classic car. :)

Maybe you and z|gen should organise to do both cars (diff colours thou?)at the same time, get a better deal?

I did that with my friend, we organised to have some factory OEM parts sprayed and fitted, got 20% off.

true. ive got a few colours in mind. looking thru the resene hme interior paint book lol, it can be matched for cars.

so ive got:

Dark blood red
Ferrari Yellow
Electric lime green
Metallic gunmetal grey (like eleanor)

from the resene book:

Wasabi (nice lime green sorta colour) with metallic in it
Hullabaloo (really nice aqua blue colour) super high gloss!

my favourites are the gunmetal grey, the electric lime green dark blood red and the hulabaloo lol

maybee i should start a poll to help me deicde what one to use
