It's diff. I'll give ya that! :)

Ain't no Eleanor though, but simple white wheels would be a good contrast.
Just don't go fanging around the gravel tracks in the 'rapa, else you'll be forever repainting them... :P

hahah yea gotta love those gravel tracks!

naa if i have white wheels i wont be going out on them anymore lol.

i decided against the eleanor colour cos i want somthing that screms out at you! nice and bright!

what sized wheels would you reccomend for a rolla? i think 17 might look a bit big, how about 15 or 16?

16 would be adequate enuff, any bigger and ull have to look at rolling the guards.

personally with older cars like that i prefer the older period style mags, there are some nice rollas like urs around in the tauranga area with the blue paint u have on (some are a bit darker), and running on 14 inch deep dish chromes (old school ones), and they look real nice. I also know a mate that put some DC3 integra alloys on his rolla (he etched off the honda symbol tho, just so it wasnt obvious what he had got the mags off), and admittedly they set the car off nicely.

Tell you what wouldntl look stupid, is a set of the 5 spoke factory levin (Ae101) alloys, there toyota, they dont look too shabby, there 15", and they probably wouldnt look too out of place powercoated.

If you find a set let me know, im interested in a set for my ae92

Drop a 13b and an 8" exhaust system in it bro and u can go down Queen street going "BARP BARP BARP" and pickup all the rota hoez!

BUT REALLY

Nice concept. Not sure about the colour though, maybe something metallic?

(Spot the Westie, I almost typed Metallica haha)

i was thinking making that colour a tad darker in hue but still nice and bright. and making it either metallic or super high glossy!
that pic doesnt actually show the true colour i want, when i printed it out it came out different but that may be just my printer. its supposed to be a nice bright aqua colour, not baby blue. anyone with a resene colour book its in there "HULLABALOO" very nice colour.

Hmmm dunno about the colour aye..... it's a bit washed out for my liking, I like real deep darker finishes (not tooo dark) like a real nice forest green on a navy blue that looks like you could dive in there and not emerge for days.....

Darker colours contrast with the chrome better I reckon, looks far classier!

Then add polished rims, something understated like good ol' Simmons FRs... (then go begging cos' ya wont have any money left!)

So I'll have to say I'm not a huge fan of the concept, I like old school cars done up old school style....
