can i keep afm when turboing my gtz

Postby IH8TEC » Mon May 31, 2004 1:37 pm

ok i've just brought a t3 turbo (.48 exhaust a/r, .42 compressor a/r), brand new bov, and boost controller as i'm gathering all the bits for the turbo conversion.

what i was wondering is because my car is a afm model 4agze, will it still work with the factory ecu and afm until i get a link. or will it definately 100% need a map sensor?

cheers

Dont suppose you're still in need of an exhaust manifold? I've decided I need some money so I'm gonna sell mine. $430 if you're keen.

thanks for that bazda, your car looks mint, i might have to give you a call when i get back, come and check it out a lil closer,

how did i get 13.5? it hits 12 all day long whenever i put my foot down, it was a cold night when i gave it death and looked at the boost guage, it was getting 13-13.5 from 6000rpm to redline, went hard
